There are boat launches in Marblemount, Rockport, and the Sauk valley as well as on the lakes of Ross, Diable and Gorge behind the dams.

General Information: Welcome to Buffalo Run Inn and Ranch, where in 1889 a house composed entirely of logs was constructed. It was an awesome project, as the logs used in this structure were 9 inches thick, 18 inches in height and measured up to 30 feet long.
The structure was named the "Log House Inn" and was a meeting place for all the gold miners and pack mule train drivers heading up the Skagit River. There have been several additions added to the main structure over the years and recently it has been used as a restaurant and cocktail lounge.
Today the building is being remodeled back into an inn and will have ten rooms downstairs and five upstairs to let. It is now called the "Buffalo Runn Inn," but you must register at the "Buffalo Run Restaurant," across the street. Each registered guest will receive a 10% discount on their restaurant bill, by presenting the room key!
