General Information: Welcome to The Thomas Lamboll House ... A Historic Charleston Bed and Breakfast and a perfect example of how an old Charleston home has weathered and adjusted itself to the changing times of several centuries. Also, when known and understood, it reads like a history book of Charleston and the fortunes and misfortunes which have beset her.
Built around 1739 by Thomas Lee for Thomas Lamboll, it has known many owners, most of whom have seen fit to make changes; however, through it all the house has maintained its original charm and atmosphere.

But we had never even considered staying in one of them until we became addicted to a "Bed & Breakfast" fever that has led us to some very interesting places and their owners.
