"The Barclay complex has beautiful grounds, a lovely heated swimming pool and a large family spa, handy to restaurants, bars, cinemas and the new Casino. All rooms have Sky TV and data connections. I enjoyed a pleasant 20 minute walk to my office in the CBD each morning and home again in the evening. A taxi fare of $5 was more than reasonable if the weather was inclement. The owners, Margaret and Neil, were helpful and friendly and made life as easy as possible for me during my stay. On cooler evenings I would arrive home from the office and find my lights and my heater on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere."

Not only have they made the stay enjoyable they have been instrumental in ensuring that we were comfortable, happy and pleased to be back each week. In my work I have stayed at many a Motel/Hotel and unfortunately I have not had many opportunities to stay at many Motels that meet the standard of the Barclay Motel. I truly believe that the success of the Motel is entirely due to effort and detail to work and ethic that Neil and Margaret apply. If only there were more motels of this calibre."
