"Loved the beautiful gardens, the small but quite charming room, and the delicious pastries and fresh fruit for breakfast. Even the coffee tasted special; I understand it's from Thanksgiving Coffee Company). Thoughtful details such as cookies and Tazo tea waiting for me in the evenings, two sweet cats welcoming me back to my room, and bottled water and towels by the pool helped make my stay here special. The Inn is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are helpful and accommodating without being intrusive. If you're planning a trip to wine country, I'd definitely recommend staying in Sonoma rather than Napa. Sonoma is as beautiful as a painting and quietly relaxing. And you'd do well to stay at the Victorian Garden Inn."
