Activities/Attractions: Pine Bush, New York, located 62 miles north of New York City, represents one of the best remaining examples of an inland pine barrens ecosystem in the world. This gently rolling sand plain is home to an unique diversity of animals and plants, including 20 rare species and two rare natural communities.
Besides great hiking, there are horse riding possibilities around, great shopping for antiques, golf, and vine trails.
Massages by a certified massage therapist, Kinesiology and Reiki sessions are available on the premises for an extra fee, and must be ordered in advance.

General Information: Welcome to Pine Haven B&B ... where the idea for this B&B came to me as I myself perceived a need for a tranquil place where to rest from the turmoil of Manhattan life. I needed a place in the country, where I would feel comfortable, where I would be welcomed to stay sitting the whole day in the lounge chair, observe the sky.
Not being able to find such a place, I decided to create it. I found this lovely spot not far from the City, in the Hudson Valley, close to Mohank Preserve and Minnewasaka State Park. It has:
- we have 6 guest rooms
- almost 10 acres
- 2 ponds, and lovely old trees
- the house is spacious, with 2 decks, balcony
- an outside Jacuzzi
- my breakfasts are festive, and I do take requests for special
dietary needs
- afternoon tea and home made pie or cookies
- on premises our guests have also at their disposal a “dry
kitchen” i.e. a fridge, sink, dishes etc. to be able to enjoy
the munchies they bring along
- tea and coffee is always available
- well behaved pets are welcomed - with prior notification
Breakfast includes juices, fruits, omelette with choice of ingredients, or crepes, breads and sausages. We do ask our guests about their food preferences, and try to accommodate different dietary requirements, as we understand that some of us are vegetarians and others not. Some are allergic to milk, and others to tomatoes ... however, we like it healthy and wholesome ... though, should we be caught in sinning, it should be worth it!
