Blue Mountain is located in the heart of one of Canada's most stunning natural landscapes and in a region with a vibrant social and cultural scene. From Wasaga beach, the longest freshwater beach in the world, to authentic harbour villages, the Georgian Triangle offers an unforgettable journey through both nature and civilization – a journey that can easily last a lifetime.
The truly unique feature of Blue Mountain is the vibrant hub of activity found in the Village at Blue. Pedestrian streets framed with turn of the century Ontario architecture are full of life and decoration. The smell of an open fire draws you to the Events Plaza past an eclectic mix of boutiques and restaurants. Music, animation, a sparkling fountain, seasonal decorations, gardens and a bustle of guests will set the stage for your memorable visit to Blue Mountain. There are an endless amount of activities and events at Blue Mountain such as:

There's plenty to see and do in Collingwood, but make sure to save some time for the quaint and scenic towns of Thornbury and Meaford.
General Information: Welcome to Lopes Chalets ... ideally located at the base of the mountain just 3 to 4 minutes to the ski slopes and the Village at Blue, 4 to 5 minutes to the beaches along Georgian Bay, approximately 10 minutes to Collingwood and 20 minutes to Wasaga Beach.
The very clean and spacious facilities of our family chalet make for an ideal spot for any function or special occasion such as company retreats, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions or simply a short recharge get-away for family and friends at any time of the year. This bright and spacious six bedroom, Swiss style Chalet has been nicely renovated and is available for weekend, weekly or monthly rentals.
- The top level is open concept and features a wood burning insert, wall to wall windows with a great view
of the mountain and sliding doors that lead to a very large
deck
- The main floor features three bedrooms with double beds, two
washrooms and a sauna
- All three bedrooms have sliding glass doors that lead to a large
deck overlooking the ravine
- The lower level features a large recreation room with a bar and
a refrigerator
- Sliding glass doors lead to the ravine and three
more bedrooms (all
with double bunk beds)
- Also found in the recreation room is a colour TV with basic
cable and a VCR, two couches (one is a pull-out that sleeps two)
and a European style soccer table
- A gas barbecue, patio table and plenty of chairs are found in
the upper level deck
- The kitchen is fully equipped with all basic necessities
including dishes, cutlery, cups, pots and pans, kettle, toaster,
coffee maker, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and stove
- The living room has plenty of seating with a futon, two sofas, TV
with basic cable and a VCR/DVD player
