General Information: Welcome to our private and tranquil getaway ... The Sassy Goose Bed & Breakfast ... a unique experience. Our lake is worth the trip. Just follow the driveway till you see the sign for the office. Your host, Bob, or his daughter, Linda, will check you in and give you your keys and a map of our mini resort. Our main lodge at The Sassy Goose in Mountain, North Carolina features three air conditioned rooms, each with TV and private bath.

• Room #1 - a King sized bed and spacious enough to add a roll-away bed
  
• Room #2 - a Queen sized bed. It is cozy and overlooks the lake
  
• Room #3 - two Twin beds. It is spacious and comfortable
  

Our Log Cabin suites are the perfect honeymoon retreat. Each cabin has:

• a living/dining area
  
• mini-kitchen (with half sized refrigerator)
  
• two stove top burners, a microwave and coffee pot
  
• separate bedroom with Queen sized bed
  
• all cooking utensils are included, gas grill is available
  

The cabins overlook the trout pond and are quiet and secluded. Each has central air and heat. Our two bedroom/two bath cottage is perfect for a family get-away into the country for some quality time.

The cottage has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace, Direct TV and screened-in sundeck overlooking the lake. One bed room has a King sized bed with adjoining bath. The second room has a Queen sized bed plus a Twin bed, and adjoining bath. All the comforts of home.
