Activities/Attractions: Sanger is located about 10 miles east of Fresno in California's Central Valley, one of the most productive agricultural counties in the world, and right at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Sanger has taken advantage of the region's agricultural base by successfully recruiting numerous industries engaged in agriculture. Sanger is known as the Nation's Christmas Tree City and is located in the King's Canyon National Park.
Visitors have an abundant choice of activities to enjoy due to our location on the Blossom Trail and proximity to the Kings River and national parks. Our panoramic views and star lit nights will be lasting memories! Visit the tasting room and enjoy handcrafted wines made on site by your innkeepers. Our Cedar Grove Winery produces Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, as well as unique wines from our estate Alicante Bouschet vineyard.
Completed in spring 2003, Cedar Grove’s new winery building houses not only the winery facility, but the tasting room and new “Winemakers Suite”, an exclusive suite on the second floor. The winery is truly “boutique”, producing small handcrafted quantities of premium wines. All winemaking activities are completed on site including crushing, fermentation, pressing, aging, blending and bottling. All wine tasting is complimentary.

General Information: Sequoia View Bed & Breakfast, located on 20 acres with an estate vineyard, is named for its panoramic views of nearby Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. Each of the three suites has private entrances and baths. The Winemakers Suite is located on the second floor of the winery building and has incredible views. The Zinfandel and Alicante Suites are located in the Vineyard Guesthouse nestled by our Alicante vines.
Hosts Jim and Debbie Van Haun welcome you to read about our three choices of accommodations. Our proximity to two of the West's most beautiful National Parks makes Sequoia View Bed and Breakfast a great place to come home to after a day of river rafting, rock climbing, or a visit to the Big Trees.
- The Winemakers Suite is located in the new winery
building above the tasting room. This private and romantic suite
has a King sleigh bed and glorious panoramic views of the vineyard,
surrounding hills and Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy a glass of
wine on the private balcony
- The Alicante Suite is located in the Vineyard
Guesthouse. It is named after our estate wine grapes, Alicante
Bouschet. The warm and bold décor of the Alicante Suite is
reminiscent of the
deep red color of the juice from these wine grapes. The Suite has a queen bed, personal parlor and private bath with shower
- The Zinfandel Suite is located in the
Vineyard Guesthouse. This romantic and restful suite has a King sleigh bed and grand bathroom, complete with Jacuzzi tub and shower. The décor is blushing with grandeur
