General Information: Dickerson's Lake Florida Resort is a lifestyle ... we have continued the traditions of gracious hospitality started over 80 years ago by Bob's great-grandparents. We have chosen to remain small to give your valuable vacation time our utmost attention. Through the years each generation has attempted to maintain the serene atmosphere created years ago for people far from home. Today as our pace of life increases, those stolen moments together become even more meaningful at Dickerson's. The 13 nicely decorated cocoa-brown cottages with full kitchens stand steps away from the shore of shimmering Lake Florida, six miles west of the quiet resort town of Spicer in the Little Crow Lakes Area of West Central Minnesota (100 miles west of Minneapolis-St. Paul). Click here for info on all the cottages. It is here where family and friends can join together in an atmosphere of warmth and happy experiences. Our many families returning year after year attest to the quality of our service. We hope we can be your hosts for building "Sandcastles and Memories." Payment Accepted: Cash, check or money order. Rates: (Prices quoted in US Dollars). From $99/day Click here for all the rates. "My family has visited this resort for many years. It is a very family friendly place. Many of the guests are many year return visitors. The grounds are kept very tidy. The beach is very nice. The swimming area is very pleasant. Many beach toys and water toys are provided. It is a very good place for children. It is easy to watch the children. The amenities range from very new and plush to older and well maintained. There are updates and improvements every year. There are a number of special activities for children. There is a sense of community that grows as the week progresses. This is not a place for wild behavior and it is not tolerated. This is also a nice feature." |
